The risk of poverty and social marginalization of foreigners from outside the European Union is the lowest in Poland among the countries of the community.
The rate of poverty risk and social marginalization of foreigners from outside the European Union in Poland was assessed at 18%. We can be proud of this result, because the EU average is as much as 45 percent. In this statistics we are ahead of, among others Czech Republic, Germany or France.
As PAP notes, Poland is also the only European Union country in which poverty and social exclusion threatens native residents more than foreigners. These data should be used to promote the country as an attractive place for economic immigration.
However, many foreigners working in Poland consider traveling to other EU countries (e.g. Germany) and Scandinavian countries for economic reasons.
