In two weeks Brazilian company Stefanini opens its branch in Opole – announced president of Opole Arkadiusz Wiśniewski at a press conference. Until the end of next year the company intends to employ up to 100 people in this Polish branch.
Stefanini provides IT services to more than 500 companies from all over the world. The staff in this city will serve German Linde Gas, Linde Engineering and significant corporations in the automotive, pharmaceutical and tobacco industries.
In choosing Opole as the location of the third branch in Poland the most important was the access to German speakers, the high working culture and the extraordinarily kindness of the city authorities for new investors. The company is present in 39 countries, so it has enough material to compare. New employees will be trained in Munich and Dresden.
According to the president of Opole, the choice of this city by a Brazilian investor is a testimony to the good reputation that this city has for companies looking to expand their business in Poland.
It is the first company in Opole with roots reaching to South America. We already have a production plant in China, there are companies from different parts of Europe. Obviously good opinion about Opole is getting longer and more – said Wiśniewski. As he added, given the fact that 20% Jobs in the region is in our city, another investor is excellent information for the entire province.
Stefanini was founded in 1987 in Brazil. Its business is to support IT for more than 500 companies from 39 countries. The company employs 22,000 people, with every tenth employee living in Europe.
In Poland, Stefanini has been operating since 2007. In 2010, Brazilians took over Tech Team Global, a provider of outsourced IT services. A year later, Stefanini Poland was opened in Kraków, which now employs 200 people, serving clients from around the world in more than a dozen languages.
