According to the regulations in force, people starting a non-agricultural business activity are entitled to a 2-year preferential period of social security contributions. The proposal proposes that this period be extended to 3 years.

As stated in the justification of the project, the basis of social security contributions would be 30%. minimum wage in the first and second year of non-agricultural business activity and 60% minimum wage in the third year. It was only after this time that business people would start paying social security contributions on a basis of at least 60 percent. average salary (currently 2 years).

According to the authors of the project, this will increase the number of people starting a business and increase the survival rate of businesses, as some entrepreneurs now quit their business or retire during the preferential pay period or in the following year.
